ACE 4: 5 ways to (respectfully) disagree
In engineering one of the most important things is being able to work with others. You will be working in partners and/or groups in various problem solving scenarios and perhaps you or your partner(s) may disagree on how to solve the problem but you must solve it without disrespecting each other.

Using ACE format and complete sentences answer the following question: Brielfy describe a sitution in which you didn't agree with someone and how you dealt with resolving the conflict in a respectul way?
Example:
In a situation I disagree with a person on ...
According to the article, 5 ways to (respectfully) disagree "using the I statement to communicate" how you feel or think of the situation helps present your case as to why you disagree in calm and respectful matter.
I believe that an effort to calmly handle disagreements is the best method, but we are humans and may lose a marbles sometimes and we just have to learn to go back and come to a compromise in which all involve can be happy.

In a situation I disagree on the design the idea and the color.
According to the article, 5 ways to (respectfully) disagree are to stay calm, listen to the other point of view, use "I" statements to communicate how you feel, what you think, and what you want or need. Also avoid putting down the other person's ideas and beliefs and don't make it personal.
I think that disagreeing with people is not fun for anyone but can be less rude then some people make it if you are careful what you say you can keep things nice and polite.

5 ways i disagree with sombody nicely i will say it like this
i don thimk i agree with that color lets keep on picking one till we agree or we can just leave it a plain color and finish our project.
and that is how i can say how idisagree nicely.

When i disagreed with some one whas when whe were bukting a car and we were talking how it wouled be.What i toled hime was I dont whant to be rude but..etc.Thats
a whay of disagreening but not being rude.

5 ways i disagree with a person nicely is i tell them i think we should try new color.Or we should do that color another time.Or we can try it but i dont really agree on that idea or that product.

In a situation I disagree with a person on taking the bus we should walk a little often. According to the article, 5 ways to (respectfully) disagree "using the I statement to communicate" how you feel or think of the situation helps present your case as to why you disagree in calm and respectful matter.
I believe that an effort to calmly handle disagreements is the best method because it helps you keep the conversation on track rather then fighting.

In a situation I disagree with a person on the idea of the project or the design.
According to the article, I would "avoid putting down the other person's ideas and beliefs". This will not make the other person feel bad or feel like they made a mistake. You could put the idea in cosideration and telling them no in polite manner.
I believen that people should be treated with respect and disagreement should be handled kindly. Even though sometimes we (humans)can get a little fustrated, we will comperise with the engineer and combine both ideas.
